The Hankook Kinergy 4S (H740) is a passenger tyre that uses a V-shaped tread to drive water out and adapt to different road temperatures, earning it the 3PMSF winter marking. Constructed to reduce the size of road contact area, the wide lateral grooves work to remove standing water from the contact patch. The silica compound of the tyre is dry and wet traction focused, is resistant to wear, and reduces road noise.
