The Hankook Ventus Evo SUV (K137A) is a high-performance, summer tyre designed for SUVs, boasting a tread design focused on improving wet braking. The innovative tread design also uses a high-silica compound. Ventus Evo SUV (K137A) features an asymmetric tread design to accommodate the needs of the heavier road SUVs. Cornering loads are supported by the large, rigid blocks of the outer tread. A water removal system is implemented by the grooves on the tread running from the front to the back. 3D GripKontrol Sipes create gaps with walls to support the rubber while braking and cornering. An aramid belt of hybrid design provides tread support on the casing.
The Ventus S1 Evo 3 SUV (K127A) is the predecessor to the Ventus Evo SUV (K137A) in Hankook’s SUV range. While the SUV is on the road, Opti Pitch Technology eliminates the sound of rolling by using different lengths of sequences in the tread design.
