5/5Compasal Blazer HPTook my car here to have tyres fitted. My locking wheel nut was broken, but they went the extra mile to remove and replace the stuck wheel nuts. Took considerable effort on their behalf, but wouldn't take payment for it. These guys value their customers.
5/5Marshal MU12Excellent performance up until now, and even on rough surfaces. I am very pleased with this choice.
5/5Continental All Season ContactGiven that I purchased these EV-specific tyres with bad weather on the horizon and with never having tried all-season tyres before, I must say these are really great. I had planned on using the original tyres over the summer, but these were perfect given our wet summer. On dry roads they are great, no squeaking or sliding, they handle really well. In the wet, they are ok, though they do struggle a bit with water, but they are not really made for heavy rain. They are really good in the snow. For the price, I doubt you can get a better tyre for the British winter than these. They are good for breaking and steering in the snow and slush and are good in snow and slush. They do well on ice too, as long as you go slow as they can slip a bit.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 DT1Great traction in any weather. These tyres absorb potholes better than my old Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, and there is still no downside that I can feel. The car is very stable.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5The original tyres on my Hyundai i20N, the Pirelli P Zero N, had great grip but only lasted about 5700 miles and wore out quickly from a mix of short trips and no trips to the track. They also made a horrible noise from the LSD rubbing on tight turns. After hearing people on the N Owners Forums, I decided to switch to Michelin PS5s and go up to 225 size tyres because they were cheaper than the 215s. I only have about 1,000 miles on them so it's still very difficult to judge wear over time so I can't give them a perfect score yet. I am grateful that there is really good grip in all conditions and there is no longer a rubbing noise on full lock, but I guess it is unfortunate that the rim protection is less visible and less effective on the Michelins than the Pirellis. I also want to thank Chris the garage in Limavady, Northern Ireland for fitting the tyres at the exact time they said they would and for their care in dealing with the unmarked rims on my car. Cheers to the guys!
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
4/5Goodyear EfficientGrip PerformanceEverything is going well, and thankfully, I haven't had to encourage them to test their maximum grip!
5/5Hankook Ventus Prime 4 (K135)Far more affordable than my previous Michelins and far quieter than them as well. For the time being, I will say the handling on these is quite good, although I can't say how well they will last, as I'm sure the Michelins lasted far longer. My car tends to be noisy on the road, so these tyres work well for me.
5/5Hankook Ventus Prime 4 (K135)These tyres do seem to be worth the money. They are on a Renault Zoe, so it's not a sports car, but they seem to provide good fuel economy and dependable traction.
