5/5Dunlop SP StreetResponse 2They work well on dry roads as long as it isn't too hot or cold. However, when the temperature drops to around 8 degrees or it starts to rain, I change them out again until Spring arrives.
5/5Avon WT7 SnowI have been very impressed with these tyres. I live in a rural area, but I have seen great performance from these tyres in snow, ice and rain. Not a single loss of grip!
5/5Yokohama BluEarth Winter V906Took my car in for 2 new tyres,Jamie and Ross sorted this is no time, excellent service will be back.
5/5Goodyear DuraGripI have a Hyundai i10, so the performance of the tyres is not so important. What matters is how the tyres handle braking, so it is important to choose the right tyres.
3/5Kumho WinterCraft WP51When it comes to dry conditions and temperatures above 10°C, these budget winter tyres do not provide the same level of stability that summer or all-season tyres do. They are good for city driving and for straight driving on motorways, but not for high-speed cornering. They do a good job at dealing with standing water, and driving slowly in the rain is more comfortable. They're also noticeably more grippy on chilly mornings and frosty weather as opposed to summer tyres. I've yet to test them in the snow, but considering how well they perform in cold and wet conditions, I believe they would also do well in snowy conditions. I might consider buying high-end winter tyres in case of comfort preferences during autumn and winter days.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2These tyres were fitted last month and I've been enjoying using them. Good handling and even better in the rain. I love how much traction they have, it makes driving in everyday situations a lot better. Would recommend.
