5/5Bridgestone Turanza T005As expected, a simple replacement of the previous tyres made by the same company.
5/5Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 (K127B)I bought these for the rear of my 3 Series. They provide good traction in both wet and dry situations, are quiet while running, and seem to be doing well after 10,000 miles.
4/5Michelin Primacy 5These tyres were chosen based on a prior experience with Michelins, which were great. These do not disappoint and are just as good! They are very comfortable and seem to roll more efficiently than the last set, so I assume I am getting better fuel consumption. Every type of weather braking feels great because that's what you want from new tyres. I wonder how it will be as the tyres wear down. For handling, steering and noise, they are pretty awesome. I am really happy with them, probably one of the best sets I've owned. I think my only concern is that they feel a little bit bouncier than my last set of tyres. I selected the extra load option and so the sidewalls are thicker which is a nice choice because I think the standard ones would be bouncier. I expected that to be a problem with cornering but they still corner really well with good grip. I would buy these tyres again in a heartbeat. Next time I might go for two Bridgestones just to compare, as I've rated them highly in the past, and I think with the new car and lower profile tyres I'm eager to see how they perform. Bridgestones are cheaper than Michelins so I can see that being a factor as well, but I guess if the Michelins last longer then they would likely be more cost-effective in the long run. I've also really liked the Continental Premium Contact 5 tyres in the past. They had the best braking but unfortunately they wore out quicker than I wanted them to. They would have been my first choice in other circumstances. I've also run the Dunlop Blue Response, which provides decent all round performance and is great value. There is nothing amazing about them, but they do the job adequately.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport EVI had a good experience with the ordered and fitted service, but the tyres are a bit expensive.
5/5Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4Until now, they have done well in both dry and wet conditions. I have yet to test them in the snow.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 SupersportCompared to others, these tyres are superb value. They provide excellent grip and balance that lets you enjoy your car's handling that much more. I'm excited to see how they perform at the track compared to my other set (Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2) after post lockdown. Right now, these Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSports are much cheaper than the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (they're comparable to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S), so I look forward to seeing how the performance differences are. I haven't been able to see how they perform in wet conditions, so I won't be able to comment on that.
5/5Bridgestone Potenza S001The new tyres handle all types of weather really well, and the road noise is tolerable.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 2)Yes, I was pleased with everything that took place over the summer. Check back in with me after the winter.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 2)I've been able to use them very little due to the current situation.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SThey do perform decently, but there are now other high-performance tyres that either match or exceed the PS4s. I might look into trying those next.
