5/5Dunlop SP StreetResponse 2Although I haven't put a lot of miles on these tyres yet, the ride has got noticeably smoother, and handling is much improved, with the Dunlops feeling more reassuring than my previous brands. Also the Dunlops deal with the potholes and imperfections in the road better than my previous tyres, which were worn and had lost their grip due to the rubber hardening.
5/5Avon WT7 SnowThe car stays planted on the road and feels safe in the rain and wind. No understeering or oversteering. An amazing value for the money.
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip CompactOutstanding grip in both wet and dry conditions. Fuel consumption appears to be reasonable too. I had Avon ZT5s for years and I used to say they had decent fuel economy, but they didn't grip as well as the Goodyears. The Goodyear tyres have transformed the handling of my car. They came off a set of cheap Laufenn tyres that my garage fitted for the MoT. Those tyres were awful, providing no feedback, even when dry. It's a frequently stated but cheap tyres are a false economy, especially in the UK where it rains a lot.
5/5Kumho WinterCraft WP51Be a bit louder, but also help me feel more confident driving on wet surfaces.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2These tyres were fitted last month and I've been enjoying using them. Good handling and even better in the rain. I love how much traction they have, it makes driving in everyday situations a lot better. Would recommend.
