5/5Michelin CrossClimate 3 SportI wanted new tyres for my Ford Focus ST ahead of our trip to the French Alps in January 2026. I changed the Pirelli P Zero FP's for a more winter appropriate option that I can keep for the summer months. The Cross Climates are brilliant and inspire a lot of confidence in the wet but also snow. I didn't need to use the snow socks that I had with me for the worst conditions. Would recommend them. Ignore the scuff marks from when my son borrowed the car.
2/5Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2As stated before, they are developing cracks and appear to wiggle when going over white line or tarmac seam. They are especially bad in wet conditions. Plus they are way louder than the Michelins I had before. Not happy with the garage that fitted them. They said they had to take the car out to reset the tyre monitors when really they reset automatically. They were gone for 45 minutes and when I got it back, it looked like it had been driven quite hard; there was black soot up the rear bumper and tailgate. The car is a Ford Focus ST estate, tuned to 300bhp.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport RI have excellent traction in the rain with these. I changed out the Pirelli Pzeros on my Focus ST since they didn't feel safe in the rain and only lasted 10,000 miles in the front. The Goodyears are slightly louder at higher speeds, but that's the only issue.

5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)I immediately noted increased traction both in the wet and dry - I feel like I'm behind the wheel of a completely different vehicle.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SThey do perform decently, but there are now other high-performance tyres that either match or exceed the PS4s. I might look into trying those next.
