Ford Focus CC Tyres

The Ford Focus CC is a two-door model with a folding hardtop. It's designed for daily driving with the capability of comfortable long-distance open driving. In the UK, Focus CC drivers need a tyre that performs well in the rain with good stopping distance and is quiet and comfortable on the long drives.

There is no uniformity of tyre sizes for the Ford Focus CC. Depending on the model year, trim, engine, and factory wheel option, the tyres may differ completely. Focus CC drivers can find the correct tyres by checking the tyres in question, the owners manual, or their registration. The right specs on correct fitting tyres will improve balance and comfort on short and long drives.

Tyres.co.uk provides a way for the Focus CC driver to find the right tyres with performance ratings and pricing. One the customer selects their tyre, they can choose a participating garage that is close to them to book a fitting. The garage choice is up to the customer and means they get to choose where the fitting is done.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Ford Focus CC Tyres: Your Questions, Answered

At Tyres.co.uk for a Ford Focus CC, the Michelin Primacy 5 and the Bridgestone Turanza 6 are available in the size 205/50 R17 93W XL for the 2008 Focus CC CC-2 with 17-inch factory wheels. Please check the registration and tyre-pressure sticker specifications before purchasing, as Focus CC variants have different wheel options.

Tyre size information for Ford Focus CC can be found on the sidewall of each tyre. Decals showing approved tyre size and tyre pressure are located on the B-Pillar of the driver's door. With changed wheels, check this decal and the owner's manual against the registration.

Since all Ford Focus CC models are front-wheel drive, there won't be any drivetrain versions that require all four tyres to be replaced as a set. When replacing tyres, do so in pairs on the same axle, using tyres of the same specifications. Additionally, if you are putting new tyres on one axle, the new ones should be on the rear axle as this will improve stability on wet roads.
