5/5Kumho Solus HA31These work perfectly in the snow. I try to go to the Peak District whenever it snows to go driving and walking in the snow, and these tyres have been great. I have put them on three different cars and each time I have been happy with the price.
4/5Autogreen Sport Macro SSC3For the price, these tyres perform well. I've tried some more expensive brands and these have better grip and don't seem to wear down as fast. They do generate a bit of noise while driving, but it isn't a big enough deal to be a problem. If you're trying to budget, it is worth considering these tyres.
