When looking for Volvo S80 tyres on Tyres.co.uk, you will see Michelin Primacy 5 (98Y XL) and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 (98W XL). Both are approved factory dimensions for the 2014 S80 and are 225/50 R17. As factory fitments can vary, make sure your registration, wheel size, load index and speed rating all match your vehicle before purchasing.
To check tyre sizes for a Volvo S80, look for the placard on the driver’s side door pillar, between the front and rear doors. This is where both the tyre pressure and the approved recommended sizes and pressures for both front and rear wheels and different load capacities will be. You also have to look at the sidewall of the tyres to check if a different size wheel has been fitted.
For a front wheel drive Volvo S80, you do not have to replace all four tyres if the quantity on both axles is respective. For all-wheel-drive models, all four tyres should be replaced as closely as possible, if this cannot be done, then all four should be replaced. When only two tyres are replaced, the new pair should be placed on the rear axle.
