Volvo S70 Tyres

The Volvo S70 is designed for use on roads as a vehicle for everyday commutes. For use on such roads, tyres designed for the Volvo S70 should provide good wet grip, lower rolling resistance, and offer comfortable quiet running. These S70 tyres fit will offer good performance and handling on urban roads and motorways and complement longer trips. Tyres best suited for the task can help customers achieve more economical driving for everyday commutes.

Because different models of the Volvo S70 have different specifications based on the model year, engine, and trim, you cannot simply purchase the same set of Volvo S70 tyres for each model across the years. Volvo S70 tyres that fit are tyres that meet the approved size, load index, and speed rating for the vehicle. The existing tyre sidewall, handbook, or registration issue can all help determine these requirements. Volvo S70 tyres that meet the requirements will support trustworthy handling, comfort, and safety in braking, while new tyres will support low rolling noise.

Tyres.co.uk provides Volvo S70 owners with the ability to compare tyres by price and brand before selecting a dealer that best meets their expectations. Customers are then able to book convenient local fitting of their tyres at participating garages and then easily return to their normal day to day activities.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Your Volvo S70 Tyre Questions Answered

On Tyres.co.uk, Volvo S70 T5 options include the Michelin Primacy 5 and Bridgestone Turanza 6, which are 205 / 55 R16 91W and work with Volvo's 16-inch factory-fitted wheels. That said, different factory-fitted wheels have been used on different variants of the S70 Volvo, as such, prior to purchasing check the tyre information sticker to see the size, load index, and speed rating.

The information on tyre sizes for the Volvo S70 is available on the tyre information sticker on the rear edge of the inner door on the front right side of the vehicle. To view the factory fitted tyre sizes, load index and the recommended cold tyre pressure, open the driver's side door. Ignore the general tyre size guides and use the label to check the specifications.

The S70 Volvo does not need the replacement of all four tyres. Since it was sold with front-wheel drive, there is no S70 variant that needs a matching set of tyres for both axles. If possible, replace tyres in axle pairs and maintain matching construction and size for each pair. If new tyres are fitted to one axle, fit them on the rear axle.
