4/5Continental All Season ContactPerformances in the chilling rain of the UK and the freezing snow of the Alps were outstanding.
4/5Goodyear Vector 4 Season G2Compared to other tyres, these handle significantly better in winter weather such as cold, wet, and snow. In snow conditions, these tyres handle cast differences, such as saying better than other extremely poor snow tyres. However, now that its spring, the tyres perform similarly to the Continental Eco tyres. The Eco tyres perform fair in the summer, but become extremely poor when snow and winter weather conditions occur. When the tread wore down to less than 4mm the Eco tyres let little to no grip and controlled truck above 6 degrees Celsius. To my disappointment, the tyres also only lasted 10,000 miles. The rubber also began to crack within the first year. It is unknown how Goodyear's tyres will end up performing as is it early in their lifespan. They do not appear to have lost as much tread as the other tyres however. The Vector 4 Seasons Gen2 tyres match with my Aygo perfectly, and I was happy to be able to purchase them at a discounted price. I have already been using them for a period of time and have no signs of bubbling or rubber cracking like with my previous tyres.
5/5Uniroyal RainExpert 5We are extremely happy with the front set! We'll plan to get another set for the back when necessary!
5/5Yokohama BluEarth ES32Up to now, the performance has gone as expected. They have also done well in wet conditions. It will be the true test to see how they handle ice or snow.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31Last a long time, are great in the rain, and are quiet. I have used these tyres a number of times and would recommend them highly.
5/5Michelin Energy SaverThe performance of this tyre exceeds my expectations; I am pleased with all aspects of it.
5/5Michelin Energy SaverGreat tyres for a Mini Cooper, which is likely the reason they were fitted by the manufacturer. They are certainly better than the Hankook tyres that it comes with now!
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2These tyres were fitted last month and I've been enjoying using them. Good handling and even better in the rain. I love how much traction they have, it makes driving in everyday situations a lot better. Would recommend.
