Toyota AYGO Tyres
The Toyota AYGO is designed for urban driving and occasional motorway ventures. As such, the perfect set of tyres must balance quiet comfort, safe braking in wet conditions and, most importantly, easy rolling to compensate for the added stress of short, sharp journeys that define urban driving.
The AYGO has been released in enough version combinations that it is unlikely you will find a year/trim/engine/factory wheel combination where the same tyres are recommended for two different AYGOs. The sidewall of the existing tyres, the vehicle handbook or the registration may all contain information regarding the correct size, and, most likely, include the load and speed ratings. The proper tyres for the AYGO will definitely improve the comfort and safety of the vehicle. The balance of comfort and steering response can also be modified when wheels are changed.
To better serve Toyota AYGO drivers, Tyres.co.uk has a range of tyres and information to help drivers, along with a booking system to get the tyres professionally installed at a location that is convenient to the driver.

Tyre review for Avon ZT7 165/65R14
Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Continental Eco Contact 5
Tyre review for Continental Eco Contact 5 225/45R17
The moment I changed to the new tyres, the difference in the car's handling was apparent as opposed to the old set, which was due for a change regardless. With the cold and wet weather ahead, the grip and road holding have noticeably improved.

Currently at Tyres.co.uk, the Toyota AYGO options include Bridgestone Turanza T005 and Hankook Kinergy Eco 2 in 165/65 R14 79T currently equipped on 14-inch wheels used on the second-generation AYGO models. Please ensure the registration number as 15-inch wheel models will have different factory fitted tyres.
The tyre size and cold tyre pressure recommendations are labelled on the B-pillar of the passenger door in Toyota AYGOs. These are applicable for the manufacturer approved wheel configurations of the vehicle. The tyre size can also be cross-checked on the tyre’s sidewall and the vehicle owner’s manual.
As the Toyota AYGO is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, it is not necessary to replace all four wheels. There are no AYGO models that have all-wheel-drive. Therefore it is safe practice to replace tyres axle pairs. It is recommended that like size and construction tyres are placed on all four axles. In case of a mix of new and used tyres, according to the UK’s tyre safety policy, new tyres should be placed on the rear axle.
