4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5Price online beat everything else I looked at & the fitting was included. Straightforward.
3/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 3)While the comfort, noise, and grip of the tyres on the motorway are good, they tend to be bouncy on rural roads.
4/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RT2Although the distance driven is limited, the car feels the same as before the puncture.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SReview of Tyre Performance I can describe these tyres as excellent in most driving conditions. They provide good grip on dry and stable control on wet pavements. Even in heavy raining they assure good control of the road. I felt they performed even better than good with respect to braking, cornering, and steering. They have sharp, no slide braking, steady cornering even at high speed, and precise steering with a good wheel feedback. Also the ride comfort and noise levels were good as well. The drive was smooth with minimum noise at even rough pavements and high speeds on the motorway. I certainly enjoyed the long trips more because these tyres promise a long lifespan and durability. They look new with even wear. I have also noted the improvement in the economy. They have lower rolling resistance which is better than my old tyres. Overall these tyres have a perfect balance of durability, comfort and performance. I would definitely recommend them to people looking for high performance and quality tyres for daily driving.
5/5Michelin CrossClimate 2I have had the tyres on my car for 18 months and they are still in good condition. I drive everyday and in all sorts of weather, and I trust them completely. I estimate they will last two years and 20,000 miles on my 2014 Honda Civic estate.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 5Great tyres, they do exceedingly well in the rain. They do feel a little bit soft, so I do wonder about how quickly they might wear down. But if that means great grip in all conditions, then I'm prepared to accept that. Will definitely be getting two more for the rear!
5/5Bridgestone Turanza T005I fitted the same tyres again as I prefer to comply with the recommendation of the car manufacturer.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
