1/5

Hilo Vantage XU1

These tyres have poor grip. It's especially noticeable on wet roads. The inner edges especially are wearing more than the rest. I suppose that might be caused by a wheel alignment issue. The car feels unstable in the wet when accelerating and especially at roundabouts. For less experienced drivers, these tyres are dangerous because my traction control really struggles with them. They were very cheap, but if I could, I would have replaced them the first time it rained. Grip on dry roads is about average, and I'm not too sure about braking distance because I usually start slowing down from a distance. These tyres really don't help the reputation of the garage.

Bridgestone Potenza Sport Evo

These tyres are doing the job, but I will look into other brands next time just to switch things up. Trying new things is interesting, even if these tyres do perform well.

Continental Sport Contact 5

The previous front pairs have lasted 14,000 miles over difficult terrain and these Continental tyres provide excellent traction in all weather conditions.
