4/5Goodyear Vector 4 Season G3Especially on my unreliable VW estate, handles well in both wet and frosty conditions. I have not noticed any improvements to the Kumho Solus tyres I had before. The real test is how long they will last.
5/5Uniroyal RainSport 5I'm delighted with how the car coping on a daily basis, in adverse conditions, and at speed. Very happy with the performance and grip of the tyres.
5/5Bridgestone All Season 6I am very happy with their road grip, almost no noise, and performed very well in a near full emergency stop.
5/5Yokohama C.Drive AC01I won't compare them to my old tyres that were about to be illegal, and that wouldn't be a fair comparison, but I will say that the difference from my old Bridgestones is quite a bit, especially in the wet grip department.
5/5Michelin Primacy 5So far, the Michelin Primacy 5 tyres are proving to be good tyres. I previously had Primacy 4s on my car, and the Primacy 5s seem to give that same solid grip and good fuel efficiency. I guess it'll be interesting to see how long they last, but if they've got anything in common with the Primacy 4s, I'm assuming they'll last about 3 years with 10,000 miles each year. They are great in the wet and the dry.
5/5Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51Cheaper than the budget tyres I bought before, but these are much better quality. They are also way quieter. Car is 2018 Volvo V40 Cross Country D4.
5/5Pirelli Powergy 2I am very pleased with the grip. The handling is excellent and the car feels safe when doing quick manoeuvres. I would definitely buy these again when the time comes. I can't really fault them.
5/5Goodyear Vector 4 Season G3Exceptional tyres for any conditions. I would absolutely buy again if there is a good deal.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 6)Great tyres! I've got PS5's in the back, but these function excellently in the front.
5/5Uniroyal All Season Expert 2Fitted them last week and already feel the difference! These are quieter and smoother compared to my previous tyres. Great overall experience, very happy.
5/5Michelin Primacy 5I don't think about them very much. As long as the grips function as intended and protect me, that's all I need.
1/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5I fitted Michelin PS5s all round on my car but they wore out ridiculously quickly, and despite all the hype, I personally think they are less durable than some mid-range or even budget ones I have used before. It just goes to show that paying more doesn't mean you are getting better quality, in this case, I would say it's more to do with brand name than anything else.
3/5Michelin CrossClimate 2Given that some tread patterns are more aggressive and thereby tend to be noisier than eco-friendly alternatives, these particular tyres are likely to create more noise. Conversely, their grip on wet and muddy surfaces is superior. Strangely, with warmer weather, my fuel efficiency has dropped from 54mpg during winter to 47mpg during spring. This will most likely be a consideration if you value fuel economy. The purchase price is not the only cost related to the tyres, as they will set you back more in long term fuel costs.
5/5Lanvigator Catchpower PlusBest handling in corners and I felt more stable than in my previous set. I am very satisfied with these.
