The Yokohama C.Drive AC01 tyre was designed specifically for warm weather conditions. Its asymmetric tread design and silica based rubber give it an edge when it comes to controlling your vehicle over wet road surfaces. The C.Drive AC01 focuses on hydraulic grip in combination with water channeling. The tread of the C.Drive is divided into three sections to assist the water channeling and grip process. The outer section of the tread is made up of big blocks in order to give the tyre lateral support and stabilise the tyre in the corners. The C.Drive AC01 also have continuous ribs that span the adhesion section of the tread which aids in the total hydraulic grip of the tyre.

The C.Drive AC01 is the first of Yokohama's C.Drive models and was later replaced by the C.Drive2 AC02. The AC02 model features a completely different tread design. Tyre replacement needs the full model of the tread, and with Yokohama's AC02 model, the C.Drive design has drastically changed. We have the AC01 model in stock at Tyres.co.uk.

I won't compare them to my old tyres that were about to be illegal, and that wouldn't be a fair comparison, but I will say that the difference from my old Bridgestones is quite a bit, especially in the wet grip department.

For the last two years, I have had these tyres on my car and have pushed my car to its limit, but I have had no issues with grip. I'll be looking to get a more expensive set of Yokohama tyres now. If this is the range you are looking at, outstanding would be the best option.

I fitted the C drive tyres just before the snow came down, and they were incredible. The tyres are made for comfort, and you can really tell! The tyres are soft, so you can feel the difference in road noise. The car runs really smoothly and looks to have a lot less rolling resistance. Awesome tyres! Super happy with my purchase!

I am very pleased with these tyres. After fitting these tyres at the front, the car feels more stable on wet roads (still have the original ones at the back). Would definitely think about buying them again.
