The Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 is a summer touring tyre designed for everyday cars and longer-distance GT-style driving. It’s built for UK roads where conditions can change quickly, giving drivers a reassuring balance of grip, stability and comfort from urban commutes through to sustained motorway miles.

An asymmetric tread pattern helps it perform across a range of situations. Wide circumferential grooves and open lateral channels move water away efficiently to reduce the risk of aquaplaning, while finely cut tread edges support dependable wet braking and cornering. A modern, silica-rich compound is used to maintain traction in cooler, rain-soaked conditions typical of British summers.

On dry roads, the shoulder blocks and optimised contact patch promote a planted feel and predictable steering response, particularly at higher speeds. The casing construction is tuned to spread load more evenly, helping these tyres wear more consistently over time and keeping road noise and vibration in check for a more relaxed cabin.
