1/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4Let's see how they hold up with only 6.5mm of tread depth from the start (vs the 8mm OEM).
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31All of my wheels have been fitted with Rapid P609 tyres, including my spare, and they are very good tyres. They provide a good, smooth drive, wear very well, and have good grip in wet conditions, and I have never had any issues with handling. For a VW Passat Alltrack Estate, they look like they will last a good amount of time, up to 25,000 miles. I would definitely buy these again.
5/5Continental Premium Contact 7In every case, traction increases confidence. My car is a couple of years old and when I got it, it had just been fitted with new, albeit budget, tyres. I quickly changed them for Continentals, which I also had on my other car, and the difference was huge. I always advise spending money on good tyres. It is the easiest way to improve a car's handling and safety as better tyres provide more grip.
4/5Michelin CrossClimate 2They're almost at the legal tread limit now, so I'll need to replace them soon, I estimate 2 years or 20,000 miles is about the norm.
5/5Yokohama Advan Fleva V701I have had great traction and stability. They have been quieter on the road than other tyres I have tried. The design protects the alloy wheel rims.
5/5Kumho HA32I'm very satisfied with the Kumho HA32, they provide excellent grip and stability in all conditions and are extremely good value.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
4/5Kumho Ecsta PS71The tyres provide excellent grip which instills me with confidence managing corners and driving in wet conditions - a must in Scotland!
