That was the main reason I bought these instead of the rest. I feel just as confident with these as I do with my summer tyres in the wet as well as in the dry.

5/5Bridgestone Blizzak LM005While winter tyres are a big plus, drivers should still be aware of road and weather conditions and drive in a safe and responsible manner. Winter tyres also provide valuable benefits for wet stopping distance. They also excel in the winter snow and ice driving conditions. I have extensive experience driving in winter conditions and find the advantages of winter tyres to be clear. I prefer to stay at home in winter driving conditions, not due to a winter tyre deficiency, but for driver safety if snow banks are piled higher than my front bumper. I've also noticed no change in fuel economy.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)You get a quieter and smoother ride than the budget ones that are originally on the car. High-performance grip and precise handling (lots of feedback) provide the level of anticipation expected from these tyres. You easily feel the limit of grip, and when they start to lose traction, it's easy to control and predict.
5/5Yokohama Geolandar CV4S G061I swapped out the regular Bridgestone tyres on my Subaru Outback for these tyres and it was the best decision I could have made. Now the car feels more stable overall and the handling improved drastically, especially during wet and slushy conditions. Although these were intended for winter use, I am anticipating keeping them on the car all year due to the frequent rains in Scotland.
