SsangYong Rexton Tyres
The SsangYong Rexton offers extensive family SUV capability, combining roomy-enough interior space with on- and off-road performance, as well as a little style. Rexton SUV tyres are intended to increase wet-weather traction and braking, whilst maintaining dry-weather steering and road-holding comfort, while also reducing road noise, and improving overall driving comfort on city and motorway roads and even on longer trips.
Generational changes, model, trim and engine variations and different factory wheels offer SsangYong Rexton owners multiple choices of wheel and tyre combinations, but these must be verified individually. The tyre sidewall, vehicle handbook, and registration information will provide the equivalent SsangYong Rexton tyre size, load and speed rating. This will enable correct selection of comfort, safety, and handling tyres.
To assist Rexton owners in their choice of tyres, Tyres.co.uk provides access to tyre information to assess pricing, overall performance and brand, and to check availability for local fitting at a participating garage. This will ensure that the correct tyres best fulfil the requirements for the confirmed needs of the vehicle.

More grip overall especially on wet surfaces. Compared to the factory-fitted tyres, braking has improved. There is less noise from the road and the ride is more comfortable.

These tyres were extremely good on a wet trip with snow and ice in Spain. On this 2000-mile journey, I experienced no slips, skids, or aquaplaning.

The tyres are good, but they make a lot of noise on the road. Everything else is okay, but the road noise is not great.

I have been extremely pleased with my experience with the Orium ROAD GO S tyres. During cornering the tyres feel secure and provide great feedback. With around 4,000 miles on them, the tyres are holding up, I am very happy!

Tyres.co.uk lists tyres for the 2025 2.2 e-XDi versions of the SsangYong Rexton, with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV or Pirelli Scorpion, both in 255/50 R20 109Y XL or 109V XL. Please confirm your registration, placard and dimensions before purchase.
The SsangYong Rexton tyre pressure label is on the driver’s side door of each model. The label shows the tyre size and pressure. You can also find this information in the handbook and on the sidewall of the tyres.
All SsangYong Rexton 4x4 models need all four tyres to match, so all four should be replaced together. For the two-wheel drive models, replace as an axle pair; in the UK, if new tyres are fitted to an axle, then in accordance with safety recommendations, they should be fitted to the rear axle.
