SsangYong Korando Tyres
The SsangYong Korando is an adaptable compact SUV. The Korando's ideal tyres should enhance everyday driving and all types of journeys, including long-distance trips. The Korando's tyres should offer wet grip and braking, as well as comfort, reduced road noise and low rolling resistance whilst helping to cushion the SUV on typical roads in the UK.
Every generation, model year and trim of the Korando has a different set of tyres. Custom Korando factory wheel options can create additional variance in the size of the tyres. The correct size can be found on the side of the current tyres, in the vehicle handbook and by checking the vehicle's registration. These methods will also establish the load index and speed rating. The tyres will create the intended comfort, carrying capability and safe handling of the Korando.
Tyres.co.uk provides Nissan Korando drivers the ability to compare brands, costs and performance specs of the available tyres and then make the purchase and schedule a local fitting at a participating garage.

Tyre review for Kumho SOLUS HS63 225/55R18
I have had the Kumho SOLUS tyres for a few weeks and their performance has exceeded expectations. They grip really well in dry and wet conditions, and have also unexpectedly improved my fuel economy. I didn't think I would notice a change this early. Overall, great buy! I am already thinking about getting these for my other car.

Continental All Season Contact 2
Tyre review for Continental All Season Contact 2 225/40R18
Continental all-season tyres are amazing! I decided to change from my old Michelin all-seasons because these ones have better grip in all conditions, be it wet, dry, or snow. In addition, they are quiet and were much cheaper than other top brands with the same features! After driving on them for a while now, I am still very happy with my decision and have no complaints. I was so impressed I even got another set for my other car!

Tyre review for Continental All Season Contact 2 225/50R17
An outstanding performance, particularly on country roads, and they have coped admirably with the damp winter conditions, including rain, leaves and mud.

Tyre review for Continental All Season Contact 2 225/45R17
I've been fully confident in their performance in both rainy and dry weather. This winter I never got to see how they handle snow. As run-flat tyres with a reinforced sidewall, they are a little sensitive to rough surfaces, and being fitted on a Mini Cooper Clubman which is a little bouncy by nature, doesn't help. They also hold their pressure well.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 235/60R18
They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

For the SsangYong Korando, Tyres.co.uk lists Michelin Primacy 5 (103V) and Bridgestone Turanza 6 (99V) in 225/60 R17 compatible with current generation models that have 17-inch factory wheels. Older Korando generations have different fitments, so verify the registration and load and speed specifications from the door label before purchasing.
You can find the tyre size details for the SsangYong Korando on the vehicle certification and tyre-pressure label located on the driver's side door sill at the B-pillar, which can be seen when the door is open. Compare this label to the sidewall of the tyre and the handbook, as approved specifications can differ from generation to generation, as well as based on wheel options and the type of drivetrain.
Generally, not all four tyres on SsangYong Korando 2WD models need to be replaced, but it is recommended to replace tyres by axle pairs. As for the SsangYong Korando 4WD and AWD versions, it is necessary to have the same size and matching tyres on all four wheels, therefore, they require all four tyres to be replaced at the same time; for the 2WD versions, the new pair should be mounted on the rear axle.
