MG HS Tyres
The MG HS is a family-oriented SUV. While the MG HS is focused on family use, its tyres should help to ease the daily grind with reliable braking, good wet grip and comfort on the various road surfaces. Tyres that favour a trade off between comfort and quiet on urban and inter-urban use should handle school and other family related runs with ease. Dynamic tread design should also provide good grip and feel on the ever changing road surfaces found in the UK.
MG HS tyres specifications differ by generation, model year, trim, engine, and factory wheel options. Correct tyre size and options should be identifiable from the vehicle handbook, existing tyre sidewall or by checking the registration. The correct tyres also need to be matched for load index and speed rating to the vehicle's permissible specifications. Using the correct tyres for the MG HS ensures the original design characteristics for comfort and safety are retained.
Tyres.co.uk allows MG HS owners to browse tyres that are compatible to the MG HS by brand, price and performance, and choose a preferred option with local tyre fitting arranged.

So far, I haven't seen much difference from the Yokohama tyres I had before. Considering I think very highly of Yokohama, that is quite remarkable.

These tyres perform exceptionally well on wet and dry surfaces. I only select the Yokohama BluEarth GT AE51 for my Saab 93 Sportwagon due to the excellent grip and feedback they provide. Their performance has always impressed me.

My car's original tyres make more noise than these. Also, these tyres perform better when it comes to wet conditions and road grip.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.
Bonnie-Rose Eathan
Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Tyres.co.uk lists Michelin e.Primacy and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyres in the size 215/60 R17 96H for first-generation MG HS models with 17-inch wheels. Other MG HS models may have different size, load index, or speed rating requirements, so refer to the driver's door placard and registration.
The tyre size for the MG HS can be found on the tyre-and-loading placard located on the driver's door B-pillar, which can be seen when the driver's door is opened. The placard indicates the approved tyre sizes and their corresponding cold pressure limits, while the tyre sidewall indicates the size of the fitted tyre. Please refer to the placard and registration to verify the appropriate specifications.
The MG HS does not mandate changing all four tyres at the same time. The UK petrol and plug-in hybrid MG HS variants are front-wheel drive, therefore, there is no driveline concern that requires all four tyres to be matched; you can replace tyres as a matched pair on the same axle. If you are putting new tyres on, those tyres should be fitted to the rear axle.
