At Tyres.co.uk you can buy either a Michelin Primacy 5 or a Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 for the MG3 in the size 195/55 R16 87V that fits 2018 – 2023 models with 16-inch wheels. Please verify registration and check the placard on the driver’s side door for compliance. This placard has the tyre pressure, size, and load index.
The placard with the tyre size for the MG3 is on the B-pillar on the right, next to the driver’s door. It carries the approved tyre size and pressures.
MG3 does not require a full set for replacement. There is no need for a set of matching 4 tyres since both petrol and Hybrid+ models are front-wheel drive. For safety and optimum grip and handling, it’s best to replace the tyres on the front and rear axle in pairs. Standards in the UK also suggest that matching new tyres should be mounted to the rear axle.
