4/5Bridgestone Potenza S001Run flats are certainly not the most comfortable choice. I would definitely pick regular tyres, probably Michelins or Continentals, which would be a lot better! The ride would be much smoother!
3/5Michelin Primacy 5The Michelin Primacy 5s are made for hot summers, and are best used when the temperature is 25° C or above. However, in the UK, it will typically be below 20° C, and so they are not suited for the climate. And in temperatures below 25° C, they perform just as well as a budget option that would cost £40. I feel disappointed after paying so much money for these so called advanced tyres. My next choice will be the Continental Eco Contact 6, and even though they are not the best for wet conditions, I'd prefer a little more comfort.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 3These tyres provided a better driving experience during winter 2020 as they handled rain and snow extremely well.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 5I've looked at different forums for the XK8 and these tyres are suggested for their good grip and quietness, as well as their excellent wet weather braking. I could immediately tell how much quieter the tyres were as soon as I left the fitters, and I've also noticed that the car feels more stable on my favourite B-road. So far, I'm really happy with them.
5/5Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 (K117B)I'm happy with how these tyres handle and their quietness. While I haven't really pushed these in the wet conditions, which is why I purchased them, I am confident they'll meet my expectations when the time comes.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 3)Remarkably good grip. Priorities are in order! Given my heavy rear-wheel drive, the back tyres do wear out a little quicker. slightly louder. but the grip on all surfaces and the great looking tread design offset any negatives!

5/5Dunlop SP SportMaxxThe car originally came with Pirelli tyres and they were all but useless outside of completely dry conditions, so I had to change them out immediately. The Dunlop tyres, on the other hand, have better performance and also less groove tracking than the Pirellis.
