At Tyres.co.uk, the Jaguar X-TYPE has Michelin Primacy 4 and Bridgestone Turanza 6 with fitments of 205/55 R16 91V for 16-inch 2.0-litre petrol and diesel X-TYPEs. Other X-TYPEs use different fitments, so please check the tyre placard, registration reading size, load index and speed rating before ordering.
The tyre recommendation label for the Jaguar X-TYPE can be found on the driver-side end of the dash when the door is open. The tyre recommendation label gives the specifications of the original equipment, as well as cold tyre pressures. The handbook as well as the recommendation label on the vehicle should be used over the tyres when checking for the approved fitment.
The Jaguar X-TYPE does not necessarily require all four tyres to be replaced. Jaguar states that tyres should be replaced in pairs of axles and prefers all tyres to be replaced as a set. All tyres on the vehicle must have the same size, tread pattern, and speed rating including the 2.5 and 3.0-litre all-wheel drives. According to safety standards in the UK, when only two tyres need to be replaced, they should go on the back axle.
