5/5Avon WV7 SnowSo far everything has been good! I required winter tyres, and so far, they have done a better job than I expected for stopping on icy roads. I still have yet to test them on snow.
4/5Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2It's best to choose this option if you want reliability and service.
4/5Avon WV7 SnowThey were so good, we didn't even get any snow! Just kidding, they drove brilliantly on the icy roads and were especially good in the wet weather.
5/5Infinity EcosisI had my new tyres put on while it was snowing, and my old tyres had no grip which was causing wheel spins. However, my new tyres did not spin at all even with the snow. They are also quiet on the motorway and very smooth to drive.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
5/5Michelin Primacy 5I switched my Pirelli Powergy tyres for these Michelins. I didn't think they would make an enormous difference, but my car is definitely more responsive in turns. They handle well in the rain, but I'll have to wait and see if they last longer than the Pirellis.
