5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5These are the best performing tyres I've had on my car. I get great grip even when it is wet. They are priced fairly for how long they last and the performance they provide.
5/5Michelin CrossClimateThese tyres handle flooding and wet weather exceptionally well. In terms of short icy weather spells, they've also done well. However, I have yet to test them in prolonged cold or icy weather. They seem to grip the road well and I'm quite happy. I was a bit unsure of the price but at the end of the day, I'm happy.
5/5Hilo Sport XV1All weather conditions and a less common tyre size new rubber smell, which indicates a final touch may have been overlooked to keep costs.
5/5Michelin Latitude Sport 3Since the original Michelin Diamaris 4x4 is no longer produced, the next best option for an E53 BMW X5 is the Latitude Sport 3. It provides fantastic traction in all conditions, good wear, low road noise, and great looks. It could be absolutely perfect if it had a bit more rim protection.
3/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5 EnergyThese were advertised as reducing road noise, but they are just as loud as my old uninsulated tyres. The insulation makes the ride feel very hard and bouncy. It feels like you are driving on tyres that are hollow.
5/5Bridgestone Alenza 001Comparatively, it is very quiet and offers amazing value compared to other leading brands.
5/5Pirelli P Zero (PZ4)I have had to brake hard while it was raining a couple of times and the tyres handled it well.
5/5Bridgestone Potenza S001The new tyres handle all types of weather really well, and the road noise is tolerable.
5/5Goodyear ExcellenceExcellent traction with these tyres. I will need to change the front ones soon and I will surely pick the same.
5/5Goodyear ExcellenceOffers excellent traction all round. Performs very well in wet conditions. I also think they seem quieter than Continentals.
