1/5Continental Conti Sport Contact 3A little noisy with a 35 profile and 20 inch wheels, but the grip for an Audi A8L size car is amazing any weather. My favourite tyres.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SGreat grip for both wet and dry, and steady handling whilst braking. Good cornering and plenty of feedback; road noise can change with the surface but is unremarkable. Tyre lifespan doesn't bother me as long as they are safe, but they appear to last based on driving style. I've never paid much attention to fuel efficiency.
4/5Michelin e.Primacy 2I am impressed with these tyres. They feel stable and grip well in the rain, even at higher speeds. They give slightly better fuel efficiency, which is a pleasant surprise. I only wish the delivery took less time.
4/5Dunlop SP SportMaxxI got these for the back of my CLK as they are cheaper than the SP9000s I have at the front. They provide good grip and good balance but are louder on the road, probably due to the tread pattern. Still, they are a bargain and, as Dunlops, I expect them to last well before a replacement is needed.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4I have been able to notice a change, and the grip in wet conditions is really good. Road noise was expected to be lower, more detailed review to follow, overall for the price it is a good performer. If the noise continues, I may try a different brand next time.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SThey do perform decently, but there are now other high-performance tyres that either match or exceed the PS4s. I might look into trying those next.
5/5Pirelli P ZeroOutstanding traction and control in any weather, and extraordinary grip on the road.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 5PI bought my VW Scirocco R brand new, and these tyres came with the car. They provide great grip and stability in all weather conditions. There may be other tyres available, but for my car, these work perfectly, so I don't see any reason to change them.
