5/5Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 (K127)Great dry grip. Stopping distances shortened in the wet. A bit noisy, although the vehicle is noisy itself.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SI changed my rear tyres from Bridgestone Potenza S001 XL 245/40R20 which had an initial tread depth of 6.1mm and have now covered 14,400 miles over a period of five years, which means the tread depth is now flush with the indicators. The Michelins are supposed to perform at least as good as the Bridgestones in both the dry and wet, and also come with a bit more tread, so considering the cost, I hope they will last longer. This is tyre is a replacement for the one that got a puncture at 16,700 miles, 18 months after the tyres were first put on. The tread depth was 8mm new, and after 2,300 miles it was down to 7mm, so the wear rate appears to be the same as the Bridgestones.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SConsidering the number of potholes, it could be better. One tyre lasted two weeks before I had to replace it after driving over a large pothole at night in the rain.
5/5Yokohama Advan Sport V107EConsidering they excel in all conditions, I was slightly annoyed when just a week in, I got a puncture!
5/5Michelin Primacy 3 GRNXI have been happy with my Michelin tyres and would recommend them to other people.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SThey do perform decently, but there are now other high-performance tyres that either match or exceed the PS4s. I might look into trying those next.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 5PI bought my VW Scirocco R brand new, and these tyres came with the car. They provide great grip and stability in all weather conditions. There may be other tyres available, but for my car, these work perfectly, so I don't see any reason to change them.
