The Bridgestone Turanza T005A is a summer passenger car tyre focused on braking performance on wet roads. Summer passenger car tyres should ideally be used in temperatures above 7 degrees Celsius on paved roads. The T005A has a tread compound made with silica and a Nano Pro-Tech compound technology. Silica helps the compound grip wet roads, while Nano Pro- Tech helps control the size and distribution of silica within the compound. The T005A also has slits across the tread blocks at high angles to create additional edges for braking. The T005A has a continuous tread pattern to assist in aquaplaning. The T005A also has tread blocks with an edge to support the tread during cornering.
The T005A is an update to the T001 in the Turanza line. The T005A is available in the XL construction for select fitments to support an even higher load. Tyres.co.uk sells the T005A.
