The Bridgestone Blizzak 6 is a premium winter tyre designed for enhanced durability compared to the Blizzak LM005, all while providing the same level of snow mobility and wet road braking of its predecessor. The Blizzak 6 has a directional ‘V’ shaped tread with an array of grooves packing water and slush away from the contact patch. The tread of the Blizzak 6 has micro slits to increase the number of edges for braking in packed snow, all of which is combined in a winter specific rubber compound that is designed to be flexible when cold.
Bridgestone claims that the Blizzak 6 has a 32% increase in tyre life, plus a 6% decrease in rolling resistance compared to the Blizzak 5. The Blizzak 6 also carries the 3PMSF designation and an A rating in wet grip, and is made from 25% recycled and renewable resources. At Tyres.co.uk, we sell the Blizzak 6.
