I have selected the XL variant to improve stability and better manage the weight of the car. They are decently priced, and while I would not use them on my other vehicles, they suit my Nissan Leaf.

4/5Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4I bought these because they were on sale, and my old Sottozeros were almost done at 3mm. I haven't driven a ton of miles on them yet, but they have been really grippy. They have a nice balance and work well with my car's xDrive system. I've had them from -5° to +10°C and they have not lost grip or handling. With winter tyres, there is a little more road noise than with summer tyres, but it is not too bad. The only downside is that they seem to collect every stone when they are parked on the gravel in my driveway. But, aside from that, a good purchase!

1/5Kumho Ecsta PS91It was disappointing for me to learn during my MOT on Tuesday that my front tyres are already 40% worn after a mere 1800 miles. I understand these are budget UHP tyres, but next time I will go for Kumho tyres. They have decent performance in dry conditions but don't do so well in very wet conditions.
