4/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RTJust as I expected after 80,000 miles, they are brilliant! Woo, they are a bit dodgy on wet roads as they are summer use designed.
4/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RTTheir service is great. I was having issues with my last tyre as it had developed a slow puncture so I went back to the shop I bought them from (less than a year ago). They found a nail that was causing the problem. Once the puncture was fixed and the tyre was re inflated, it was evident that the inner side wall was fully cracked, about to blow out. I changed it to a good tyre that I had used previously and would recommend. It's better to go for a big brand tyre; it saves you money in the end.
5/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RTGlad I got these tyres. I will definitely get them again when I need new ones.
5/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RTDunlops are quieter than the Pirellis that they replaced. They grip the road as well in all conditions and just as importantly, they don't appear to be wearing out quickly, even though I haven't driven a long distance on them so far. Overall, I'm very pleased with their performance and quality.
3/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RTSince I had the replacements done, I have noticed that one tyre appears to slowly be leaking air, so the repairs have not performed well.
1/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx RTWas disappointed to find a random puncture. Even the breakdown service was surprised within only a few days.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5The purchasing and fitting procedures were uncomplicated. The tyres are functioning as expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
5/5Bridgestone Turanza T005I fitted the same tyres again as I prefer to comply with the recommendation of the car manufacturer.
