Peugeot 208 Tyres
The Peugeot 208 is a supermini hatchback designed for city driving and commutes. Peugeot 208 tyres need a good balance of wet grip, short stopping distances, comfort, and low noise levels. For the Peugeot 208, a tyre that has good handling and low rolling resistance would support its primary function on city and main road driving and motorway use.
Peugeot 208 tyres vary by generation, trim, engine, and factory fitted wheels. Therefore, every iteration needs a specific fitment according to its approved requirements. The current tyre sidewall, the vehicle manual, or the registration should have the correct tyre size, load index, and speed rating. Maintaining the correct specifications of Peugeot 208 tyres has a positive impact on the comfort and handling of the vehicle, particularly the safety.
Tyres.co.uk arranges local tyre fits with Peugeot 208 owners and lets users compare different brand options by performance and price at local participating garages.

Kumho Ecsta PS71
Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 255/40R17
Initially, the tyres were fitted during pleasant weather, and they impressed us with their grip and silence. They were much better than the cheap ones we had before. Now, with the cold snap, they are also handling brilliantly with ice, so we look forward to seeing how they will do when the snow comes.

Enhanced grip on wet surfaces and they are quiet.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 225/35R20
Great traction on wet and dry surfaces and the tread holds up well. They could be slightly noisier than the Pirelli ones I had before, though the better performance compensates for that.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.
Ivan Brady
Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

You do not need to replace all four Peugeot 208 tyres at the same time. Peugeot 208 range is front wheel drive, so there is no requirement for all wheel drive tyres to match. Simply fit that variant pair to the placard specification on the same axle. As per the UK tyre safety guidelines, it is best to fit new tyres to the rear axle when replacing two tyres.
