Peugeot Rifter Tyres

The Peugeot Rifter is an excellent utility vehicle for a wide range of uses from carrying the family to daily errands. The Peugeot Rifter is a people and cargo carrier. All of those tasks require a well-balanced mix of tyre characteristics. The Peugeot Rifter tyres should have low rolling resistance, low noise, and high wet traction with responsive braking.

There are a number of factors that influence the tyre size on the Peugeot Rifter. These include model, trim, engine, and factory wheel package. The only way to be sure that a tyre is appropriate for the vehicle is to check the size, load index, and speed rating. Those factors are found in the vehicle handbook, on the sidewall of an existing tyre, or can be looked up using the vehicle registration. Tyres that do not meet all of the requirements could be dangerous, uncomfortable, and will limit the load carrying ability of the vehicle.

Tyres.co.uk displays a variety of tyre choices for the Peugeot Rifter and helps consumers decide the best trade-off of price, quality, and availability for each brand. Those choices can then be scheduled for installation at a convenient location.

4.00/5
The Michelin Agilis 3 tyres work exceptionally well in wet conditions and are excellent at managing high weight capacities. Personally, I carry a lot of tools and materials in my van and I would recommend these tyres. They are also very quiet when driving, so there is no noise.

The noise generated by these tyres is rather reasonable as they appear to be wearing in nicely. They also handle remarkably well and braking is quite effective.

Continental Van Contact 200

It might be early to give a thorough breakdown of these tyres' long term performance, but they seem to offer a better experience on the road. They are softer and I notice a drop in noise level while driving. I even think I've seen an increase in fuel efficiency, seeing as I average 4 mpg more on a recent trip to Wales.

Choosing the Right Peugeot Rifter Tyres: FAQ

Tyres.co.uk has Michelin Primacy 5 and Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV available in size 215/65 R16 98H for the 2021 petrol and diesel Peugeot Rifter models with factory 16-inch wheels. These tyres exceed the factory 95U service description; please check the registration and driver's door labelling before purchasing.

Information on Peugeot Rifter tyres can be found on the tyre/paint code label located on the driver's side door. The label also states the approved tyre specifications including tyre dimensions, load index, speed rating, cold pressure rating for both loaded and unloaded conditions, and spare-wheel pressure if applicable.

Models in the Peugeot Rifter range do not require all four tyres to be replaced at the same time: if possible, replace a matching pair on the same axle. The factory Rifter range does not have any all-wheel-drive variants, therefore four matching tyres are not necessary. Where two new tyres are fitted, UK safety guidance is to place these on the rear axle, while complying with the specified load and speed ratings.
