5/5Continental Sport Contact 5I've looked at different forums for the XK8 and these tyres are suggested for their good grip and quietness, as well as their excellent wet weather braking. I could immediately tell how much quieter the tyres were as soon as I left the fitters, and I've also noticed that the car feels more stable on my favourite B-road. So far, I'm really happy with them.
5/5Michelin Primacy 4+I see some concerns regarding tyre noise in reviews, but I find it less noticeable, making car noises more noticeable. I haven't driven aggressively and am pleased with them up to now. I'm hoping they last as long as my previous ones, which went for 25,000 miles. That would be fantastic.

3/5Bridgestone Turanza 6The tyres are incredible. I've driven on some very wet roads and handling and stopping are consistently reliable.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 2These are my second pair for my 1999 Honda Prelude 2.0L, which has about 140bhp. My first set lasted 50,000 miles, 10,000 on the front and 40,000 on the back, and still had almost 3mm tread left, but with the weather about to change, I decided to get them swapped. At £107 each for 205/50R16, I thought they were well priced. They replaced my Falken FK452s, which only did about 19,000 miles on the front and 22,000 total. I think the Continentals should last 30,000 miles at least on the front before rotation.
5/5Continental Premium Contact 7They do their job so well I almost don't see them. I know I'll need to replace the back ones soon, and I'll be going for Continental again for sure.
3/5Michelin Primacy 5The Michelin Primacy 5s are made for hot summers, and are best used when the temperature is 25° C or above. However, in the UK, it will typically be below 20° C, and so they are not suited for the climate. And in temperatures below 25° C, they perform just as well as a budget option that would cost £40. I feel disappointed after paying so much money for these so called advanced tyres. My next choice will be the Continental Eco Contact 6, and even though they are not the best for wet conditions, I'd prefer a little more comfort.

5/5Continental Winter Contact TS870 PAcquired because of the local regulations in the Alps for snowy conditions. They seem to have good grip, though they haven't been tested extensively.
1/5Infinity EcomaxI understand the speculation surrounding these tyres, but having done just 8,000 miles in one year, I'm down to 3mm tread left. At this rate, I will be looking to replace them soon. Compared to the last Bridgestone Duelers I had, which did 25,000 miles, these tyres have not held up well. I will most likely be going back to Bridgestone. Just to clarify, these were the rear tyres on a BMW X5, which is notorious for being tough on tyres, but I was expecting around 15k miles or something closer to the Bridgestones.
