Pirelli's Cinturato P7 is a summer touring tyre focused on reducing rolling resistance. An asymmetric tread design featuring a series of 4 longitudinal grooves aids in the removal of standing water. The tread design is supported by ribbed channel walls, while larger blocks on the edge of the design support the tyre during cornering. The sound the tread blocks make during motion is dampened by a varied pitch design of the blocks.

The Run Flat version of the Cinturato P7 is designed to carry the weight of the car during a pressure loss. The Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS) version is built with sound absorbing materials to reduce the noise that reaches the cabin. Some versions of this tyre, upon fitting, carry the BMW Star marking and the Mercedes-Benz (Benz) MO marking, both of which indicate their approval and assist owners in maintaining the original sidewall specification when replacing original tyres. These tyres were the original equipment on my car. They may not be the most budget-friendly option, but their performance and overall wear is excellent. They are wide, low profile, and run flat, which means they will more likely wear on the edges if they are slightly overinflated, particularly during short trips in urban traffic.

Cinturato tyres have wowed me with their performance under nervous driving and braking and their durability over the span of two years. Therefore, I was really frustrated to have to switch out almost new RF tyre because of a puncture. I just don't get why they can't fix punctures that are not edge of the tread!
