While these tyres may last a while, the traction they offer is poor, presumably due to the type of rubber used. Consider choosing Premium Contact tyres; they may not last as long, but they provide exceptional grip and safer driving.

Nankang Econex NA-1

The tyres easily deal with aquaplaning. I can see a good deal on these considering the size and tread pattern. Actual miles driven are still few, but I expect to see solid durability on these. I have previously used Nankang for performance tyres and had no problems.

175/80 R14 is a high-profile size for older small cars and light vans. It's easy to understand. 175 is for the width in mm. 80 is for the aspect ratio meaning the sidewall is 80% of 175mm = 140mm.
