TVR Chimaera Tyres
As a road-focused rear-wheel-drive sports car, the TVR Chimaera demands a set of tyres with even more of a focus on road performance. TVR Chimaera tyres need to provide road users with predictable and consistent performance regarding wet grip and braking, as well as assist in providing a nimble response for steering inputs. Good quality road performance tyres can allow comfortable cruising and offer a measure of control and road noise reduction for longer trips.
Depending on the generation, trim, engine, and factory wheel option, TVR Chimaera tyre sizes vary and therefore no single fitment applies to all of them. The correct TVR Chimaera tyre size, load index and speed rating should be confirmed from the existing tyre sidewall, the vehicle handbook or registration details. The TVR Chimaera was designed with specific tyre fitments, so by using the original equipment fitment, the desired balance of performance, safety and comfort is maintained.
Tyres.co.uk offers TVR Chimaera owners the opportunity to compare TVR Chimaera tyre options based on cost, performance, and various brand offerings in a convenient format. Users then provide the vehicle specification and confirm their selection, and can then book the fitting at a local garage of their choice.

Wonderful, I always put Michelin on my Porsche as they are the best tyres for it, plus they have the Porsche 'N' rating.

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero Rosso 225/40R18
I have had two out of four with bulging sidewalls, and another one went down to the wear bar in less than 10,000 miles. I will not be buying these again! I know of others with this issue and while it could just be a stroke of bad luck.

Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)
Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5) 225/50R17
I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/35R21
Since I've had them, it's been a little cold, which isn't the best to test them out. But, from previous experiences, they give me confidence in warmer weather.

For the standard factory staggered wheels, the TVR Chimaera tyre options at Tyres.co.uk include Vredestein Sprint+ in 205/55 ZR15 88W for the front and Michelin Pilot Sport and Pirelli Cinturato P7 in 225/50 R16 92Y at the rear. Please confirm that the vehicle still has these factory wheel sizes and choose at least the stated load and speed ratings.
Chimaera tyre sizes are available in the owner's handbook section titled "Wheels and Tyres"; the factory handbook does not specify a tyre size placard on the door shut, fuel flap, or anywhere else on the vehicle. Verify the tyre sidewall and handbook, then confirm against the specification by registration, especially if the vehicle has aftermarket wheels.
Since TVR Chimaera is rear-wheel drive, all four tyres do not need replacing at the same time, and do not need to be the same brand or model on both axles. If you are replacing tyres pair-wise by axle, UK tyre-safety guidance recommends that when fitting two new tyres, those new tyres be fitted to the rear.
