5/5Yokohama Advan Fleva V701The tyres were so good. I used to choose Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, but this time I went for 5s, and I really liked them for how safe I felt driving on them. I felt really confident with the grip in both dry and wet conditions, though I thought they wore down pretty fast. I thought I'd try some Yokohama tyres this time, after positive reviews. They were £30 cheaper per tyre than the Michelins, and the reviews were right. The grip is really good on both wet and dry surfaces! I'm happy with how my A5 Quattro helps though I'm very please with them. They appear to be wearing down slower than the Michelins, which is great. I'll definitely be buying these again.
5/5Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+They dealt with the winter without problems. I'm using my summer tyres again, but I feel better for next year when it gets warmer. The grip is phenomenal and they last for so long. A great option for winter tyres. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that wants more safety in the winter!
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ConnectThey are not very good in wet conditions since they are made for track use.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4The grip is unchanged, but there has been a substantial increase in ride quality.
5/5Michelin Pilot Alpin 5For a front-wheel drive, traction in snow is pretty good. Outstanding braking performance. As anticipated, these winter tyres change the vehicle's dynamics. Although the handling is softer because of the 50 profile, it can still manage corners well without understeering. In sport mode with DCC it can feel a bit bouncy, but that's winter tyres for you. Overall, very happy; a clear step up from the Davanti Wintoura, and new tyres always feel good.
5/5Goodyear UltraGrip Performance G1Enormous improvement. These tyres were very well reviewed as winter options, as well as for cold weather overall. Immediately after putting them on, I noticed a big improvement in traction, even with my current 'standard' Michelins having lots of tread. I intend to replace them once it gets warm and am optimistic they will hold up for quite a while. I feel more safe driving with these on the car.
4/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SThey do perform decently, but there are now other high-performance tyres that either match or exceed the PS4s. I might look into trying those next.
4/5Bridgestone Potenza RE050AAs expected, these are perfectly fine since they were fitted when the car was new.
5/5Bridgestone Potenza S001The new tyres handle all types of weather really well, and the road noise is tolerable.
