What is a space saver tyre?

Space saver tyres

A space saver is an emergency spare wheel that is smaller and narrower than full-size spare wheels. It takes up less space in the boot compared to a full-size spare.

Limitations

  • Maximum speed is usually 50 mph
  • Designed for short distances only - get to a garage as soon as practical
  • The handling can feel different, particularly in corners
  • Electronic safety systems can behave differently

As soon as possible, replace the space saver with a full-size tyre.
