I bought all four Kumho tyres in February and, within half a year, one back tyre failed an MOT and, more recently, in November, one back tyre started losing air and wouldn't stay inflated, so I had to replace it with a Continental. Really disappointing experience.

To break down the first set of numbers, 285 represents width in millimetres, 40 is the aspect ratio which is 114mm (40% of 285mm), and R20 indicates radial construction on a 20-inch rim with an overall diameter of 736mm.
