The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a summer tyre focused on improving performance during wet conditions with an innovative asymmetric design. Goodyear claims that the innovation is that the design allows the rubber to hammer tiny bits of the wet road, increasing contact, and therefore, friction. It is also designed to guide the water away from the centre grooves to improve dry performance. The outer edge of the design has large blocks that provide support when cornering.

The Asymmetric 6 replaced the Asymmetric 5 in 2022. Goodyear also claims that their SoundComfort Technology are tyre inserts made of polyurethane that help absorb and lower the noise caused by the air moving in and out of the tyre. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, SoundComfort editions included.

Compared to my previous ones, these tyres are much more silent. I've been recommended these and from a garage I visited, they said these are great all-season tyres. They also have the star mark meaning they are BMW approved.
