Tesla Model Y Tyres
Model Y by Tesla is the next fully electric SUV for your family outings, work commutes and even those long road trips in the UK. When testing potential new tyres for this SUV, consumers should look for something that offers dry and wet weather traction, a controlled braking distance, ride comfort, low noise and responsive steering. Since Model Y is an SUV, handling and steering responsiveness would assist in city driving.
Tyre sizes for this model will vary based on the model year, generation, trim and the optional factory wheels. Drivers should always consult their vehicle handbook or check the sidewall of the existing tyres or the registration documents for the most accurate information prior to making any purchase. For safe driving at optimal comfort and fuel economy, it is important to purchase tyres that meet the specified size, load and speed rating for your Model Y.
Tyres.co.uk should help customers of the Model Y make informed decisions when choosing replacements. They are able to provide brand names, prices and performance info, and even arrange local installation at a garage of the customer’s choosing. This process should help you determine the best choices based on the vehicle’s specified requirements and your driving needs.
Continental All Season Contact 2
Tyre review for Continental All Season Contact 2 225/40R18
Continental all-season tyres are amazing! I decided to change from my old Michelin all-seasons because these ones have better grip in all conditions, be it wet, dry, or snow. In addition, they are quiet and were much cheaper than other top brands with the same features! After driving on them for a while now, I am still very happy with my decision and have no complaints. I was so impressed I even got another set for my other car!

Tyre review for Continental All Season Contact 2 225/50R17
An outstanding performance, particularly on country roads, and they have coped admirably with the damp winter conditions, including rain, leaves and mud.

Tyre review for Continental All Season Contact 2 225/45R17
I've been fully confident in their performance in both rainy and dry weather. This winter I never got to see how they handle snow. As run-flat tyres with a reinforced sidewall, they are a little sensitive to rough surfaces, and being fitted on a Mini Cooper Clubman which is a little bouncy by nature, doesn't help. They also hold their pressure well.

Tyre review for Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 EV (K127E) 215/65R17
Michelin tyres may provide better grip, but they use a softer compound, making them tend to wear out faster.

The tyres seem to be ok but I haven't attempted any other tyres on this vehicle.

The perform great, and compared to the original tyres, they are a bit quieter. The driving experience is improved which is always a plus with the 128ti. I have used these tyres before, so I know them.

Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Sport 5 225/45R17
I believe they will do better than average in wet conditions because they have good grip, however, I have not tested them in the winter conditions.

Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Sport 5 235/40R19
On dry roads, the grip feels almost endless, while on wet roads, it is comforting. The wear rate corresponds to what you would expect from a high-performance tyre.
