5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUVAs someone who is retired, I don't drive too much in winter. Yet, I have always used Goodyear tyres on my Freelander as they were the ones originally fitted and I had no reason to change what the manufacturer recommended. They do well in most weather conditions. I just haven't had the chance to test them in icy or snowy conditions.
5/5Pirelli Winter SottoZero 3Excellent winter tyres. They are a bit stiffer than regular non-run flat tyres.
4/5Yokohama Geolandar CV G058The exact steering with traction on wet and dry conditions is provided by the comfortable and flexible tyres.
5/5Uniroyal RainSport 5I haven't thought about it too much, but I am glad I chose tyres that grip well in wet conditions given how wet this winter has been.
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUVI feel more secure driving now; these are excellent for narrow and bumpy country lanes.
5/5Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 3) SUVThe previous set of tyres was able to last 25,000 miles and nearly 4 years with approximately 2.5mm of remaining tread, which is quite impressive for a large, powerful vehicle. The new tyres have improved stability, reduced noise, and most importantly improved confidence during winter driving conditions.
4/5Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 SUV (K117A)I have sold the car, so I am not sure. They were very quiet, but I saw that compared to the Avons, which was not good, they seemed to use more fuel. The grip seemed okay.
5/5Avon ZX7I'm really pleased with these tyres. I've done plenty of research and this is the brand I have decided on. As long as the price stays reasonable, I will not look at other brands in the future.
5/5Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015Outstanding in all weather conditions. Exceptional when it comes to dealing with standing water. Surprisingly good off road in mud, and damp grass. No noisier than a road-tyre.
5/5Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015I am quite impressed at the moment but I still have to see how they do in the winter.
5/5Bridgestone Turanza T005I fitted the same tyres again as I prefer to comply with the recommendation of the car manufacturer.
5/5Michelin CrossClimate SUVConsiderable worth for the price. If you are still hesitant, you can compare them to an expensive pair of bike tyres, which are also not suitable for winter weather!
