5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2I chose these tyres because they are a well-known brand with acceptable noise and wet grip ratings and were fairly priced.
4/5Avon WT7 SnowI am changing my Vredestein Snowtrac 3 and Kenda Comet tyres to Avons because winter is coming and the old ones had about 4-5mm left. When I bought the Avons, they were new and had no reviews, but I had experience with the previous version (Ice Touring). So far I've had no issues, my car is quieter now and the wet grip is equal or better to the Vredesteins. The car rolls out better too. I don't have big expectations since I'm driving a Punto 1.2 but the Avons have good dry grip as well. Considering the price, which is the same as the budget options, it makes sense to go for the Avons, as it's a reliable brand.
5/5Firestone Multihawk 2I guess they are okay; I travelled just under 800 miles last week in all sorts of weather and they are coping.
5/5Michelin CrossClimate 2I drove 30,000 miles on these tyres. They offer a comfortable driving experience and good braking, cornering, and steering control.
4/5Dunlop SP Winter Response 2The manufacturer claims that these tyres are fuel-efficient. I have observed an initial increase in usual fuel consumption, and I do not think the savings will be enough to cover the costs of the tyres. However, the tyres will cause a significant decrease in fuel expenses during the year. The tread pattern of these tyres resembles the tread pattern of most winter tyres, and just like most winter tyres, these tyres are quieter than the winter tyres I previously owned.
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip PerformanceThese were replaceable on the front wheels, identical to the ones on the back. So far, they have been good, easy, and look like they will last a long time. When it comes to time to replace these wheels, I will go with these again.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
4/5Dunlop Sport BluresponseI am impressed that they are very quiet on the road. I am satisfied with everything else. I have not had enough time to comment on wear.
