The placard for the Smart Fortwo 453, which has the tyre size and pressure information, is located on the driver-side door pillar (B-pillar). To locate it, open the driver-side door and check the area behind the door. For the previous models of the Smart Fortwo, the information may be located inside the fuel filler flap, so check the manual for your model year.
As both iterations of the Smart Fortwo, the petrol and electric models, are rear wheel drive, only two wheels need to be replaced at a time. This also applies to all other vehicles as well, and, like the Smart Fortwo, tyres may be replaced in pairs and strictly in the recommended staggered fitment which is front to rear and not left to right. In addition, UK tyre safety guidance state that when two new tyres are fitted, they should be fitted to the rear axle.
