Renault Scenic Tyres
Practical family transport needs motivated the development of the Renault Scenic line. Long day family outings and daily commutes impact the type of tyres required for the Scenic line. The tyres should have sufficient grip for wet driving conditions with confidence for braking. The focus should be on the comfort of the family with a smoother drive with lower road noise.
Each generation of the Renault Scenic line has differences in the desired tyres based upon model, trim, engine and the choices for the factory installed wheels. This makes one size fits all impossible for Renault Scenic tyres. The proper size, load index and speed rating provide comfort and safety for the Scenic line. Proper fitment is found by the sidewall of the tyre or the supplied information with the vehicle.
Tyres.co.uk has pricing and quotes performance ratings to help Scenic owners prior to their local booking of assembly.
Kumho Ecowing ES31
Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 195/60R15
They appear fine so far, although I still have to drive a long distance with them.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance
Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/60R15
These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 205/50R16
They show little to no signs of wear and look brand new.

Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/45R17
Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/45R17
They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

Avon ZV7

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/50R17
The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/45R17
They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 215/45R17
Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Bridgestone Turanza T001
Tyre review for Bridgestone Turanza T001 225/40R18
No significant difference from the prior set of tyres. Changed them when they were about 2.5mm worn, whereas these new ones started with only 6.5mm.

Tyre review for Bridgestone Turanza T001 225/50R17
The old Bridgestone tyres were only changed because of some deterioration after lasting six years on the car.

For the Renault Scenic at Tyres.co.uk, you can choose from Michelin e.Primacy and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance in 205/55 R19 97H XL for the current Scenic E-Tech electric 220 hp. Please confirm the registration and driver door placard specifications before ordering as earlier Renault Scenic generations have different fitments.
You can find the Renault Scenic tyre-size specifics on the white tyre-pressure placard located on the inside edge of the driver's side door. Open the door to check it out. The placard illustrates the approved tyre dimensions and inflation pressures, load conditions and, if applicable, the emergency-spare specification for that vehicle.
It is usually not necessary for the Renault Scenic to have all four tyres changed: for the front-wheel-drive models, there is a requirement for matching make, size, type and tread pattern on each axle. When new tyres are fitted on one axle, UK tyre-safety guidance suggests that the pair be placed on the rear axle. The four-wheel-drive Scenic RX4 requires matching tyres on all four wheels.
