They provide comfort, and with dependable braking and stopping at different speeds, give confidence. Typically, the tyres last a long time, although potholes may wear them out quicker.
3/5Goodyear Vector 4 Season G2Certainly feel more assured when driving on ice, but when it's warm and dry, they come across as a bit rough and unkind.
5/5Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2They changed my JCW Mini Cooper from being unmanageable during Ottawa winters to being track car like in terms of road grip during the crazy winter conditions. These tyres offer insane levels of grip and braking in deep snow, ice, and freezing rain.
5/5Continental All Season Contact 2I've been fully confident in their performance in both rainy and dry weather. This winter I never got to see how they handle snow. As run-flat tyres with a reinforced sidewall, they are a little sensitive to rough surfaces, and being fitted on a Mini Cooper Clubman which is a little bouncy by nature, doesn't help. They also hold their pressure well.

5/5Michelin Primacy 3These tyres are exactly as I expected, but this is also expected as I generally buy this brand. I have noticed no difference in fuel consumption or noise levels and they handle well in the wet.
